The issue with people like you is your fixation on ignoring the concerns of others and attempting to completely negate them. If you don’t believe there’s a system issue, why not simply say, “While I know it is an issue that black people are far more likely to be murdered by cops and 25% of them unjustly so, I’m not yet convinced there’s a systemic issue” rather than completely ignoring the facts at hand. What if an officer came into your family’s house, and the 3/4 of your family that is scared or, for whatever reason, guilty pulled out a gun and were killed as a result while the other 25% of you who were supposed to be perceived innocent until proven guilty took cover but were killed by the officer? We have better conversations and reach better results when we have empathy and try to understand how others feel. But for some reason, you and others like yourself immediately jump to denying any claims of there being subpar living conditions for your neighbors or fellow Americans.
