I Can’t See in the Dark

But doctors say my eyes are perfectly fine.

All my life, my biggest fear has been going blind. I couldn’t imagine a life without my vision. I’ve always had great vision, near and far. Unfortunately, after all of my hard work in college, only a few months after graduation, my greatest fear began to come true.

Since one unremarkable day in December 2017, I’ve been unable to see objects in my central vision in the dark through either one of my eyes together or separately.
